The primary challenge was to develop a web-based customer-facing system capable of aggregating and presenting crucial information regarding sales, inventory, and discounts. Additionally, the system needed to seamlessly integrate with the client's SAP-based ERP system to fetch and process data efficiently. ### Solution In response to the client's requirements, we developed a comprehensive dealer portal with advanced features tailored to their specific needs. The portal leveraged modern web technologies to provide a fully web-based data view, accessing and processing information stored in the backend ERP application. Key features included periodic auto-fetching of selected data, intermediate data caching for faster access, and a RESTful web interface for displaying various entities. Moreover, the portal allowed filtering of data based on user accounts, enabling personalized views for different stakeholders. It also offered fully customizable data views, including the personalization of columns, with persistent settings for user preferences.
